Full MHRT/C certificate holders are required to complete at least 18 hours of continuing education (CE) every two years in order to have their MHRT/C certificates renewed. A minimum of four (4) hours of the 18 hours of training must be in Ethics. CE must address one or more competency domains. Select this link for a list of the MHRT-C Knowledge Competencies.
At the time of renewal, please submit a completed MHRT/C Renewal Form with your CE documentation. Please submit no sooner than 90 days prior to your expiration date. You do not need to submit a copy of your MHRT/C certificate with the renewal form.
For a list of what is and is not accepted for CE, we’ve created a checklist to help you (last updated 5/1/20): CE Checklist
