The redesigned MHRT/C certification program includes a continuing education requirement that will enable certificate holders to continue to expand their knowledge, skills and abilities in the ever-changing field of behavioral health. All those who have earned a Full MHRT/C are required to complete at least eighteen (18) hours of continuing education every two years in order to have their MHRT/C certificates renewed. A minimum of four (4) hours of training is required in the area of ethics. The remaining fourteen (14) hours may be related to any other competencies required for MHRT/C certification. Click here for a list of the MHRT/C Competencies.
At the time of renewal, please submit a completed MHRT Renewal Form with your documentation of this continuing education.
