CIPSS Update

The End of an Era for Eventbrite

As you may be aware, the Center for Learning provides administrative support for the Certified Intentional Peer Support Specialist (CIPSS) program.
As part of that administration, we have fully rolled out a new online LIVE Maine CIPSS portal. Current CIPSS certificate holders received an invitation to enroll in the new system in groups. Beginning March 1, 2025, participants will no longer be able to sign up for events using Eventbrite. They will now “register” and create an account, utilizing the following link https://cipss.cutler.usm.maine.edu/. Once signed up, the participant will be able to see their progress on requirements and certifications in real time. For more tips and tricks on how to navigate the system, click the “i” icon next to “Register”, located at the top right hand side of the screen.

Reminder: MHRT/C Non-Academic Training

One of three ways an individual may meet an MHRT/C Domain Requirement is through 30 hours of Non-Academic Training. This can either be through piecemealing multiple shorter trainings adding up to 30 hours which cover the Knowledge Competencies (PDF link) for that Domain or by taking a 30 hour training that uses the state’s standard curricula for that Domain. Taking one of those 30 hour trainings is the easier option. There are multiple instructors approved by the state who offer these trainings, mostly through video conference. As they notify our office of an upcoming training we post it on our schedule.

Here are a few upcoming trainings (see the schedule linked above for a full list and for registration details):

Domain 6: March 24, 26, 31, April 2, & 3 with Co-Occurring Collaborative Serving Maine & Kennebec Behavioral Health via video conference

Domain 2: March 24, 28, 31, April 2 & 4 with Paramount Behavioral Services via video conference. This is a Priority Domain.

Domain 3: March 23, 27, April 1, 3, & 7 with Riverside Training & Education Center via video conference. This is a Priority Domain

Domain 8: April 8, 10, 14, 15, & 17 with Health Affiliates Maine via video conference.
