CHANGE IN APPLICATION PROCESS FOR TRANSCRIPTS
We have new specific requirements for receiving official transcripts:
- Applicant Submission: Applicants cannot submit transcripts via email, as regular email is not secure. Applicants must either:
- (Fast) Upload legible copies of official transcripts through the CFL secure web portal during the online application process.
- (Slow) Mail official transcripts to our Augusta address (see below).
- Institutional Submission: Educational institutions that offer electronic transcripts may submit transcripts directly to the CFL through secure email. The institution should submit to: cfl@maine.edu.
This change applies to MHRT/C Applications and MHRT/C Renewal if the individual is using college courses for continuing education. It also applies to MHRT I applicants who are using an accepted master degree in substitution for MHSS. Please see the Simple Steps to MHRT I Certification guide for the list of accepted master degrees.
KVCC MHRT/C Conference
The information below was sent to our office by Kennebec Valley Community College. They have not shared the agenda with our staff yet. As such, we have not yet determined which Domains this conference applies to for continuing education. If you have questions about this conference, please contact Caroline Rideout at KVCC (contact info is below).
Attendees will hear from a variety of speakers, including Lacey Sawyer and Dr. Jill Satnam, gaining a total of 6 CEU hours with their attendance.
The cost to attend is $130 per person (which includes lunch and snacks throughout the day).
